Natalie is a PhD student in the Clinical Child and Adolescent Program at the University of Guelph with prior research training in forensic mental health from King's College London. She is committed to providing comprehensive, strengths-based, and accessible services to children and their families in her role at Uplift. Her research focuses on emotion processing and empathy-related personality traits in children and youth, which she approaches through a psychophysiological lens. Outside of her academic and professional work, Natalie enjoys thrifting, listening to 80s music, and sewing historical garments.
