David Turner is a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA), Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), and certified teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT). He holds a Master’s degree in Childhood Education from D’Youville College and a Graduate Academic Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) from the University of North Texas.

With over 15 years of experience in education and ABA, David has supported children and youth across Ontario and Prince Edward Island. His work includes behavioural consultation, supporting individualized educational programs, and collaborating with families, educators, and community partners.

David is known for his warm, empathetic approach and his dedication to building strong, trusting relationships. He specializes in collaborating with adults to enhance their skills in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), while also supporting school-aged children. During his time with the PEI Department of Education, David conducted ABA-based assessments, designed intensive programs for children, and provided ongoing supervision to dedicated teams.

At Uplift Psychology, David provides ABA-based consultation, parent coaching, and professional workshops to support children’s behavioural, social, and learning needs. Passionate about education and evidence-based practice, he equips families with practical and effective strategies.

David lives in Guelph with his family, where he enjoys learning new things, mountain biking, staying active, and spending quality time with his wife and their two young children.
